What we do

The grant lifecycle, end to end

Research grant offices split their work into pre-award and post-award. So do we — from finding the right call to reporting the funded project. Here is the whole path, and where each of our services sits on it.

The path a funded project takes

1 pre-award

Find the call

Before anything is worth writing, the project has to match a live call. Our Funding Radar aggregates open research-funding calls from eight sources — free to use.

2 pre-award

Write & assess the proposal

Grant writing end to end — templates, partner data, budget, submission — and a reading of the draft against the criticisms real EU evaluators record. That includes the section applicants find hardest and reviewers weight most: impact, exploitation and valorisation, written by someone who has supported SME business development and built tech-transfer centres. The Project Strategy Builder helps turn an idea into an outline first.

3 post-award

Manage & report

Once funded, the administrative load that keeps a project compliant: consortium coordination, interim and final reporting, deliverables, and the amendments and reviews along the way.

4 post-award obligation

Disseminate

Dissemination, communication and exploitation are conditions of the grant, and every one is reported on. We write the plan as a working document and run it.

Alongside the lifecycle

And what is not tied to a grant

Some of what we do stands on its own — scientific publishing, training and a place to work — useful whether or not a funding call is involved.

Scientific writing

Manuscripts, reports and technical documentation for research centres and companies — grant-funded or not.

Training

Grant writing and project management, taught to research teams — and the books and community behind it.

Meeting & event space

Room in Barcelona for groups of up to 25 — consortium meetings, workshops, training days and presentations. Run separately from the consulting.
